Where is our facility located?

We are not a facility, but rather loving homes in the Fraser Valley. We have multiple locations and people, working harmoniously to provide the highest standards of animal husbandry. With 30+ years of animal husbandry experience, it is our life’s calling to honour the angels, dressed in dog form, sent to heal, comfort, and provide loyal companionship.

Do we potty train the puppies?

Absolutely! We begin at 5 weeks and use recycled or real grass for training. This requires diligence, consistency, perseverance and an abundance of time and effort. Many breeders do not offer this due to the heavy workload and 24-hour schedule. The amount of hours associated with training are reflected in cost of adoption.

Is price negotiable?

No,This work we do is a labour of love. We feel blessed to be uniting family members and encouraging the healing in one’s life by the addition of a family member who will unconditionally love you.

Do we spay/neuter our puppies?

No. Based on our experience, it is cruel and detrimental to spay/neuter any dog prior to 6 months of age.

Spaying/neutering between the ages of 7-10 weeks has been proven to affect bone-density and severely affect puppy temperament and confidence.

Are we required to spay/neuter?

We do require spaying/neutering of all our puppies as part of our non-breeding contract.

All puppies are expected to be spayed/neutered at 6 months of age.

For male puppies, neutering reduces aggression.

For female puppies, spaying stops bleeding cycles, promotes uterine health, prevents infection and cancer.

Spaying/neutering produces more well-rounded, calm adults.

Do we crate train?

Yes, we crate train your puppy and suggest you continue, as we have set the expectation of the crate as a safe, comfortable, happy-place.

Is the puppy's crate included?

Yes, we drop off your puppy in the Crate it was trained in (along with it's scented, security blanket). This happy-place ensures the least anxiety for the puppy as it adjusts to your home.

Do we microchip our puppies?

Yes, we use the highest-quality, longest-lasting, and farthest-reading passive 8mm microchips from Trovan.

These are the same RFID chips used by such companies as NASA, Diamler Benz, and the World Wildlife Fund.

We choose 8mm chips, rather than the more common (and cheaper) 12mm chips, to be as comfortable and unobtrusive to our puppies as possible.

Can we visit?

We love having visitors and welcome our families who are on wait-lists to come out to the Homestead when their puppy is 5/6 weeks of age.

We cannot accommodate visitors who are not on a wait-list, for various reasons, such as, crucial best practices for health and best use of our limited resource, time. We work around the clock when we have litters and as you can appreciate, we treasure our family time when we are in between litters.

We do offer video calls or suggest contacting a previous family who has one of our puppies.

Is the Application Fee included in the adoption price?

No, the application-fee is not included in our adoption price.

Is the Application Fee refundable?

No, the application-fee is non-refundable.

A puppy is a new family member and not a decision to enter lightly.

When your Application is accepted the contractual obligation has begun. We commit to your place on the wait-list and do all we can, as we work with mother nature, to provide you the healthiest possible puppy as close to the timeline communicated to us. You commit to waiting for your gender and agree with your place on the wait-list.

There are many reasons for this firm decision, one being, we commit to setting aside a puppy for your family and in so doing, turn away others from adopting. In addition, there are costs associated with each application as everyone’s time is a limited resource. To reassign the puppy, finding another family, along with administration fees quickly exhaust the $500 application-fee. Thus, leaving nothing to refund.

Our provision for a worst case scenario is as follows: If you are close to the bottom of the wait-list and/or the amount of puppies in the litter is smaller than expected, we offer you, at no additional fee, a move to the next litter with high-priority placement.
